| Seamus Byrne of Seamus Byrne Electrical ‘We chose to install the new Vergokan KBSTI cable tray range at the Carlow IT Barrow Centre project because the system offered us a faster more efficient installation process than if we were to use standard cable tray mounted on trapeze brackets.
In practice, as well as being impressed with the ease and speed of installation of the product we also found it was easier to handle and use. Additionally, as it is all mounted on open sided brackets that enable side access to the containment, we were able to install the cable much faster and with less labour. The result was that we made significant in-place cost savings on this element of the project. We were so impressed by the system that we chose to install it on our next project, the new Paddy Power HQ in Bellfield, where again we have been delighted with the results. We will continue to use Vergokan KBSTI cable tray on our future projects.’ |

| Seamus Coleman The Arkady project is a high bay warehouse. I felt use of the Vergokan KBSTI cable tray and C-bracket system would help reduce the amount of time required to install the 1,800m of containment.
I expected to need 6 men and 3 hoists for 4 weeks to install the tray. In fact we installed it all with 2 men and 2 hoists in 3 weeks – a massive saving in time, labour and hoist hire! The cable tray and all its accessories are easy to use and really fast to fit. Even the lid is fixed on with a simple snap-on clip. This product is the way forward.’ |
